I can't believe we are at Graduation already....Senior Year went WAY too fast!!

Tanner was a knight in the school musical. It was magical and so fun to watch the kids use their talents to put on such a great show!! I went almost every night and I loved it each and every time!!

The end of Freshman Year

WOW, how did that year go so fast. It seems like just yesterday that I was posting the first day of High School and the anxiety I felt about his growing up so fast...and now the year is almost over. We've had so much going on in the last week, seminary graduation and the seminary BBQ, the speech banquet, the choir banquet, the choir show, does it ever end???? YES, I'm sure it will. School doesn't get out until June 11th now {thanks to all of our snow days}....and we are getting ready for summer!!

Winter Concert - and his first HS solo

Tanner had his winter choir concert at DGS this past week. He sings in 3 different choirs and loves being in choir {and singing}. He had a solo tonight in "For the Longest Time" and he did AWESOME! {I was very proud}. He has come a long way in the last few years. When he started choir in the 6th grade, he wouldn't even sing for his teacher....and look at him now!

"The Freshman Games"

Tanner was in his first play this past week...it was fun and he did a really great job, but man are we ready for play practice to be over!! He gets up at 5am for seminary and he has been at the school until 7-7:30 every night for practice...he comes home, has dinner, does homework and is ready for bed! He is ready for a break.

The play is really a parody of "The Hunger Games" and it was a bunch of little skits with commentary between them. Tanner was in several different scenes and he did a great job!

The scenery and costumes were pretty simple, but they looked great!! I loved the District 99 sign!

Loved all the mixing of characters, Harry Potter, Twilight and The Hunger Games!

Tanner is Thor, God of Thunder! Love the hair!

Superheros!!

My favorite scene: 3rd grade class of boys trying to decide if they should start "liking" girls! It was hilarious!!

They were just told they "might" get a kiss from the girls! Silly boys!!

LOVED Grandpa Tanner!!!

Especially his "dancing"!!

They did a great job and Tanner had a GREAT time!!! He loved being a part of the cast and made a lot of new friends!! {such a great thing for a brand new freshman!}
