Here is mamma's obituary. I miss you every minute of every day. I will do everything I can to  make you proud! I love you more!!!

Our sweet wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and grandmother Cindy, 62, passed from this mortal existence peacefully on Saturday Nov. 14, 2015 following a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

LuCinda "Cindy" Lee McDonald was born June 27, 1953 in Conrad, Montana to Hal A. Jenson and Ilene Sessions Jenson. She attended schools in Bynum and Choteau and graduated from Choteau High School. Cindy attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho where she met her future husband, Dennis Dean McDonald. They were married in the Cardston Alberta Temple on June 25, 1975. Dennis and Cindy are the parents of seven beautiful children.

They made their first home in Elko, Nevada for two months and then moved to Provo Utah for Dennis to attend BYU. They lived in Provo until 1980, when they moved to north Orem and then in 1989 moved into their current home.

Cindy was an exceptional example to all those that knew her. Many friends and family found great joy in staying in their home and enjoying her Bed and Breakfast style hospitality. Her home was always an open door and you could guarantee that you were going to have a great "home cooked" meal and you never left hungry.

Cindy was a valiant daughter of God and has always been active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She demonstrated an unwavering testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. She served in various callings in the Relief Society, Primary, Young Women's and over 28 years in many Cub and Boy Scout callings. Cindy and Dennis had multiple opportunities to serve together in scout callings; she is a Silver Beaver. Her favorite calling was her special weeks spent at YW Girl's Camp and her legacy will always be the over 20 years she prepared and cooked the meals for the YW. Before her illness she loved serving on the RS committee and working with her Activity Day Girls. The past few years she has enjoyed putting on her favorite apron and serving in the kitchen at all the funeral luncheons in our ward.

Cindy learned to work hard at a young age. She always wanted to be a homemaker and be at home with their children. She worked over 35 years with Dennis at MAC Builders and Associates. Most recently she was a health coach at Curves for Women where she enjoyed making many new friends, but mostly enjoyed not having to work as much for Dennis.

Dennis and Cindy enjoyed many years cooking dutch oven meals together in their backyard pit, at many youth conferences, for scout training week-ends and many scout campouts, mountain man breakfast for the Mountain View HS Football Team and for parties and socials of every kind. She will always be remembered for her ability to cook anything in a dutch oven and has fed groups up to 400 people, like it was nothing!

When her son Jeff remodeled the MVHS Concession Stand she took over organizing and running it for all home football games and she made many friends through her son's sports activities.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis; children Liberty (Jason) Cameron, Scott, Amber Powers, Ryan (Jennifer), Jeff (Christie), Brett (Heather), and Skylar, a valiant missionary serving in the Dominican Republic Santo Domingo West Mission. She also leaves behind 19 grandchildren, with a grandson due in January. She is also survived by her mother Ilene Jenson, and her siblings; Robert (Shawn) Jenson, Terrie (Steve) Hollingshead, John (Sally) Jenson, Tim (Mary) Jenson, Tammie (Kevin) Lightner, and Karri (Bill) Rose.

She was preceded in death by her father Hal A. Jenson, her grandparents, her father- in-law, Robert H. McDonald and her grandson, Brayden.

As a family we would like to thank Dr. Cordell Bott, with Revere Health and his staff along with all the Hospital and IHC Home Health doctors and nurses who cared for her, during her courageous battle with ovarian cancer. We would also like to thank the special caregivers who helped take care of her in our home, the many friends who brought in meals, cleaned our house and took such good care of us during her four month battle. It takes an army to do all the things she did effortlessly. This past week we appreciate the tender care from the staff of Horizon Hospice.

Funeral services will be held on Friday Nov. 20, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Orem Park Stake Center located at 195 W. 300 S., Orem, UT. Friends may visit with the family Thursday evening from 6 - 8 pm at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 E. 800 N., Orem, or at the church Friday morning from 11:30 am -12:30 prior to the services. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to our Team Cindy account at Bonneville Bank of Provo.
