How is it possible that I have an 18 year old? How did the time go so fast?
I still can't believe he's all grown up and will graduate in just a few weeks!!
I love you more!!

Our Birthdays
Our birthdays this year were celebrated all month long...I had coconut cream pie THREE times at three different places....we opened our gifts at all different times and we weren't even together on our birthdays. {Jason and Tanner left on Monday the 28th for scout camp}. I did however get to go to the DMV and get a new drivers license!
The Webb's had a fun little party for me on Sunday before camp and we had very YUMMY mexican food and coconut cream pie!! {of course}
We got lots of good stuff...and one of us still has some money to spend. {not I}.
I did send some cupcakes and Mountain Dew up to scout camp on Thursday for Jason. Happy Birthday to us!

Birthday and Mother's Day
Tanner's birthday always falls on or around Mother's Day weekend. {he loves sharing it with me!} This year he was sick the whole week of his birthday {and missed one night of the choir concert}. It was a long week for all of us. He went to school on his birthday, even though he had come home the day before not feeling good. We celebrated with red velvet cake and he requested Portillos for dinner. {he's pretty easy to please}. Happy Birthday bud! We love you!!
We spent all day Saturday working in the yard and cleaning the house. I went for a 5 mile run that morning and then we painted all the outside furniture and planted all the flowers. Jason was a great help to get everything I wanted to done. {I told him this could count as my Mother's day gift}.
I LOVE IT!!!!! It's so cute and colorful!! We can't do much in our little yard because of the rules, but I love all these colors we added!!
Sunday he made me breakfast in bed and got me a pink flower to wear to church {the real present he ordered me is on back-order and I still haven't received it yet!}. He made me dinner and we had yummy lemon cake for dessert, it was a pretty perfect day.

15 yrs? How is it possible?
I don't know how it happened. I don't know when it happened, but somehow my baby boy is 15 years old today!! He is sweet and funny. He is smart and a smart-aleck. He is tender and sensitive. He is rough and obnoxious. He loves to sing and I love to listen to him sing. He has a heart of gold and he will steal the food right off my plate. He is everything he should be at 15 and I love everything about him!!
Happy Birthday sweet boy!!
Go out and be everything you want to be! We love you!!
Happy Birthday Bud!!

Celebrating and the Great Outdoors
We started Sunday the 21st of July and had my birthday celebration before Tanner and I left for camp. I had a great birthday on Wednesday {at camp} but it was fun to celebrate and get to open my presents before I left. I LOVE my new running belt and it has really helped me to have water with me for my long runs!
We dropped Tanner off at Josh's house on Sunday night {to spend the night} because they had to be there at 3am on Monday morning. {THANKS ANNIE}. Hope they have a great week!!
I got up early Monday morning and left for camp. It's not too hard to be excited about going when I get to have this view for the entire week.....It was BEAUTIFUL this year! {a little cold for me, but beautiful during the day}.
On my birthday Jason came up to camp and brought me a cold diet coke from McDonalds and flowers from the Piggly Wiggly. {that is just fun to say}. It was so sweet of him....he drove 4 hours and only spent about 3 hours at camp.
It was a wonderful week at camp! I love working with these amazing women and young women!
After we all came home {and cleaned up and put everything away}....we celebrated Jason's birthday. I made him dinner and got him an apple pie for dessert. He got a Bass Pro gift card, fishing stuff and a Red Lobster gift card.
We decided to go to Bass Pro Shop after dinner on his birthday...I told him it must really be his special day because I was at Bass Pro with him in the fishing department.
The next night we decided to use our Red Lobster gift cards and go out to dinner as a family. It was such a fun night together. {and it was SO yummy}.
Now I think we are all ready to get back to "normal" and get ready for school to start! {oh, maybe that is just me!}
